Hi, I’m Wendi Gordon, the creator of my mental health guide.

I am a former pastor, and I have a B.A. in social work. I use that knowledge and experience in my mental health work, but my most valuable education comes from the school of life.

I use lessons and coping strategies I’ve learned from overcoming challenges in my life to help you handle the challenges in yours.

I’ve experienced depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I’ve grieved losses and been betrayed by people I trusted.

I’ve learned from those painful experiences and believe you can learn from yours. I want to help you endure hard times and take steps that lead to a better future.

I’m not a medical or mental health professional. Nothing I say or write is intended to be medical advice.

I’m a safe, empathetic peer listener and guide who will help you find or create a way forward when you can’t see one.
